Although I realize that during the covid-19 crisis, the breakfast room must remain closed, I booked this hotel because it said that I would be able to get breakfast. A brown paper bag with a bottle of water and a VERY skimpy muffin is hardly a breakfast.
I was forced to interrupt my trip west to California, which was already on a tight schedule, to get an adequate breakfast. The girl who checked us in at the desk was so friendly and even wrote down a list of restaurants we might want to try. She acted like she genuinely wanted to help us in any way to make our stay enjoyable! I know this should be a normal thing but it is not what we find most places. There was another lady at the counter the next morning who was also very friendly but we didn’t speak to her long or get her name.
